With the end of warmer climates and winter fast approaching your vehicle’s paintwork will be more exposed to the harsh elements like road salt, grit, snow, ice and frost.
Our Winter Protection Package which runs from October to January is specially designed to protect and seal the vehicle’s paint, glass and alloy wheels from the winter elements.
Providing additional protection for your vehicle during the winter period is vital to maintaining the paint as well as the wheels and glass.
If you think valeting your car is just for those spring and summer months where the sun can glint off the freshly polished and waxed exterior, think again.
Why you should have your car valeted in winter
It effects the look & feel and can cause corrosion if left untreated & uncleaned.
Have your car valeted with a standard car wax to keep corrosive & harmful things from damaging your paintwork.
A simple car wax will provide 1-3 months protective durability to your paint and glass.
A number one enemy is road salt
It can eat through your car’s finish and contribute to premature rusting.
Valeting in winter with a thorough process including a car wash, polish and wax to get that corrosion-causing road salt off your car and lay down a protective layer that will help keep it off your car as winter wears on.
Even if you live in an area where they don’t salt the roads, the caked-on snow, ice, grit, mud and grime can trap moisture against your car’s finish with—you guessed it—the same result:
A ruined finish and an early trip to the scrap merchant because of rust that could have been prevented or at least delayed with a good valet in winter.
But it’s not just your car’s exterior that needs attention.
A thorough valet in winter is important for your car’s interior, too.
Every time you get in your vehicle with wet, muddy or snowy shoes, your carpet takes a hit.
It needs to be cleaned more often, not less, when winter rolls around.
And your shoes likely aren’t the only part of you bringing grit and grime into your car. Cloth and leather interiors both need more frequent vacuuming during the winter months to prevent scratches, rips and tears.

The Paint
Snow, ice, loose gravel and salt can do serious damage to your cars paint, and bodywork.
The exterior will be given a full wash, 3 stage decontamination process using snow foam and clay bar with a hard wax applied which will create a barrier between the winter conditions and the paint, resulting in a protection that will last between 4-6 months.
The Glass
Harsh winter conditions can reduce visibility when driving.
We offer the very best dirt and water repellent glass sealant available on the market. Water is blown off car screens at speeds as low as 30mph, reducing the need to use your wiper blades.
The glass is clayed and cleaned prior to applying the sealant for ultimate protection which will give durability of about 3 months.
The Wheels
You wouldn’t dream of leaving your paint unprotected, but what about your wheels?
Wheels encounter all the contaminants that paint does through the winter period including brake dust, the worst of them all. It can eat through clear coated wheels and even cast aluminium and chrome if left unattended.
We offer a 9h ceramic wheel guard that creates a clear barrier against dirt, brake dust, bugs, tar, water and anything else that impacts your wheel. Protection will last through the winter period.
The Vehicle Health Check
- Oil level checked & reported to customer or refilled with customers oil supply
- Engine coolant checked & refilled with FREE Engine
- Coolant/Anti-Freeze
- Tyre pressures checked & inflated
- Tyre wear & tread checked & reported to customer
- Windscreen washer bottle refilled with FREE Anti-Freeze Screen wash
Even if you don’t use our Winter protection package, it is still a good idea to have your vehicle regularly cleaned throughout the winter to avoid damage and corrosion.
Our Winter Valet includes:
- An interior vacuum & wipe down of surfaces.
- Full exterior wash to remove any salt, grit & other contaminates and a durable wax applied to the paint & glass, as well as our
- Vehicle health check worth £15.
